Job Description:Primary Responsibilities:Summarize, interpret, and assess applicability and impact of new and/or amended regulations and regulatory guidance with respect to a foreign banking organization's businesses, processes, and operations (investment banking, corporate banking, markets activities, bank regulatory matters).Update and maintain the firm's laws, rules, and regulations inventory and associated governance controls, i.e., reporting.Qualifications:Minimum 7 years of experience in a compliance, legal, or risk management role in the financial services industry, preferably at a foreign banking organization or other banking organization with a complex business and entity structure.Excellent understanding and knowledge of:US financial regulatory and legal framework.A financial institution's operations and departmental functions, including but not limited to, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Finance, Legal, IT.Financial products and services and associated business and operational processes.Extensive knowledge of the regulatory change management process preferred.Experience in using and maintaining a workflow tool (e.g. GRC platform) preferred.MS Office proficiency; advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.Strong analytical and critical thinking and attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and time management skills to accommodate a diverse portfolio of work, and a proven record of successfully managing priorities and deadlines.
