The Part-Time Life Insurance Service & New Business Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Lead Advisor/CFP in placing new insurance business and servicing existing client policies. This is a detail-oriented position that requires strong organizational skills, proactive follow-up, and the ability to manage multiple cases at different stages.The right candidate must be comfortable working independently to move cases forward while also collaborating closely with the firm’s Client Service Associate for investments to ensure seamless service across both sides of the business. Strong phone communication skills and confidence in making outbound calls to clients from our existing book of business are essential.This is a paid part-time role with the potential for future growth into full-time responsibilities or commission-based opportunities if desired.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesInsurance New Business Support
- Assist the Lead Advisor/CFP in preparing, submitting, and tracking life, disability, and long-term care applications
- Coordinate medical exams, APS requests, and other underwriting requirements
- Communicate with carriers to resolve application or underwriting issues
- Maintain detailed and organized records of all active cases, including online file/document management
- Process client policy service requests, including beneficiary changes, billing updates, and coverage adjustments
- Update client and policy servicing information using Proformex, CRM systems, and carrier portals
- Provide professional client service via phone, email, and written correspondence
- Make proactive outbound calls to existing clients regarding insurance service, follow-up, and case status
- Assist in preparing insurance illustrations, forms, and client review materials
- Active Life & Health Insurance License required
- Prior experience in insurance new business processing, policy service, or case management strongly preferred
- Excellent phone communication skills and comfort making outbound calls to existing clients (no cold calling)
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with the investment Client Service Associate and advisory team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with CRM systems, Proformex, and online file/document management
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and follow-through
