Kforce has a client that is seeking a GCP Data Tester (Data Engineer) in Walnut Creek, CA or Phoenix, AZ. If not in CA or AZ, this role can sit 100% remote. This is a Contract position for 4-6 months to begin, extensions/conversion possible. Our client is looking for a GCP Data Tester with strong experience on Big Query and ETL Testing. In this role, you will collaborate with data engineer, data scientists, and business intelligence teams to understand requirements and provide efficient data solutions.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and IAM
Strong in ETL testing experience
Extensive experience in Salesforce
Experience in Salesforce data cloud testing
Work experience in any of the programming languages
Deep knowledge of SQL to debug BigQuery Stored Procedures and worked on medium to complex SQL queries to perform Data Validation between the systems
Good knowledge on GCP logging services
Working knowledge of version control tools like GitHub
Proficiency in ETL testing using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow) and BigQuery Transfer Service
