
Receiving Clerk

- Ensure timely receipt, documentation, and relocation of all incoming goods and return materials.
- Plan and coordinate timely product delivery to the plant floor.
- Continuously improve and streamline receiving processes.
- Communicate with Product and Inventory Control to maintain accurate inventory locations.
- Manage consignment warehouse inventory and clerical functions.
- Maintain proper documentation for all incoming goods.
- Possess a valid forklift certification.
- Perform and uphold 5S duties and maintain 5S standards.
- Execute inventory paperwork and computer transactions as needed.
- Adhere to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics.
- Be flexible to move within departments/plant as needed.
- Identify and help address safety hazards, suggesting corrective actions.
- Follow company safety practices to ensure a safe work environment for all team members.
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Detail oriented, self-starter able to meet deadlines.
- Requires excellent written and oral communication skills as well as good organization skills.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products and navigation through web portals is necessary.
- Accurate in working with numbers and willing to help in other areas of shipping and receiving department.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- The ability and desire to work with people in the team concept and be innovative and willing to participate in internal programs, communications, work simplification, cost-reduction, quality improvement and Lean manufacturing.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear, use hands and/or fingers to handle, touch objects, assemble parts, utilize tools or controls.
- The ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques, carrying and moving parts, materials, and product.
- Ability to perform tasks at a standard rate.
- They must have hand and foot coordination to control and adjust equipment or tools. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
