Behavioral Health RN Job Details

- Contract Duration: 52 weeks
- Hourly Pay Rate: $90.25
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $710$750

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum 1 year of experience in behavioral health nursing or acute care nursing
- Completion of de-escalation training (TRUST preferred, PMCS acceptable)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work overnight nursing shifts
- Deliver compassionate patient care in behavioral health and acute care units
- Apply de-escalation techniques to promote patient and staff safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress, document clinical observations, and update medical records
- Support patients through detox, mental health crises, same day surgery, bone marrow transplant, and IDD care
- Maintain a professional, supportive environment and adhere to healthcare facility protocols
