As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within financial institution locations. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter unwanted activity, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain proficiency with a firearm as part of your daily duties. You will also interact with employees, visitors, and clients, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You’ll Do:
  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Perform security-related duties in accordance with site-specific post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
