We are currently looking for a Senior Engineering Manager, Grow in New York (USA).As a Senior Engineering Manager, Grow, you will lead a high-performing, cross-functional engineering team focused on developing AI-enabled solutions that help financial institutions grow profitable customer relationships. You will oversee the design, implementation, and delivery of scalable product features while collaborating closely with product and business stakeholders. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with mentorship, process ownership, and strategic input into the product roadmap. You will have the opportunity to influence product strategy, enhance engineering practices, and drive measurable impact in a fast-paced, hybrid or remote work environment.Accountabilities· Lead a product engineering team of Full-Stack Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and QA Engineers, providing mentorship and career development.· Oversee design decisions, create design documents and proofs of concept, and ensure alignment with stakeholders.· Break down user stories into actionable tasks and manage the team’s day-to-day execution.· Model best practices in software development through hands-on coding, code reviews, and coaching.· Advocate for roadmap prioritization, reducing technical debt, and improving operational efficiency.· Track and review KPIs to ensure compliance with SDLC and Agile processes.· Collaborate with peer Engineering Managers and Architects to share capabilities and foster alignment across teams.Requirements· 8+ years of experience developing cloud-based SaaS products across UI, backend, API, and ETL components.· 5+ years experience working with ETL pipelines and complex metric calculations; Databricks experience is a plus.· 3+ years in a management role, leading both day-to-day operations and professional development of team members.· Technical proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), Python, TypeScript/JavaScript (Angular), Spark, and SQL.· Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.· Collaborative mindset, capable of negotiating trade-offs with stakeholders.· Experience with Agile environments, Git, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC).· Strong commitment to code quality, testing, and scalable product design.· Bias toward action and proactive identification of process improvements.Benefits· Competitive salary range: $170,000 to $190,000 plus bonus.· Flexible work options including remote or hybrid arrangements.· Financial, health, and lifestyle benefits with a variety of choices.· Generous annual leave, floating holidays, volunteering days, and birthday day off.· Learning and development tools for career growth.· Collaborative and inclusive culture with DE&I programs and regular social events.· Employee Assistance Program providing expert advice on wellbeing, legal, financial, and counseling services.Jobgether is a Talent Matching Platform that partners with companies worldwide to efficiently connect top talent with the right opportunities through AI-driven job matching.When you apply, your profile goes through our AI-powered screening process designed to identify top talent efficiently and fairly.
