• The primary responsibility of this position is to accurately complete all job functions in a time sensitive environment.
• Packaging and careful shipment of goods to customers
• Packing customer orders using prescribed packing methods to ensure integrity of shipments
• Shipping orders primarily via UPS
• Paperwork - receiving, sorting, and scanning of all packaging slips and Bills of Lading. Communicate and coordinate shipping and billing activity between company offices Maintain awareness of all safety requirements and communicate any issues to management.
• Must be able to work independently and take initiative to meet customer satisfaction through on-time delivery
• Must be a team player who can communicate well and collaborate with others throughout the company, including production and customer service areas
• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow policies and procedures closely
• Must be fluent in English (written, oral & comprehension)
• Load and unload trucks, insuring that pallets are wrapped and loaded according to specifications and company procedures
• Verify information on all outgoing shipments: item count, product picked, and product weights. Accurately record information using department procedures.
• Monitor pick list and verify all information prior to shipping order including verifying customer order number, product, and quantity.
• Create labels and properly complete bill of lading prior to shipping orders.
• Verify bill of lading and packing slip when receiving inventory;
• Must be able to repetitively lift 70 pounds
• Operation of fork lift.
• Assist with accurately recording and maintaining inventory
