- Valid and current Wisconsin or Michigan registered nurse license or compact license.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing from accredited school required (BSN).
- Master’s degree in nursing or informatics required.
- Master’s degree in information systems is optional.
- Certification in nursing leadership or informatics highly desired.
- Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nursing Practice preferred (DNP).
- A valid and current Wisconsin or Michigan registered nurse license or compact license is required.
- Epic certification in clinical modules is highly desired.
- ANCC certification in healthcare informatics is highly desired.
- Membership of professional associations (e.g., HIMMS, ACHE, etc.) desired.
- Minimum five years direct clinical care.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a progressive informatics leadership position within an integrated healthcare system.
- Extensive experience working with Epic core systems.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams.
- Demonstrated success driving the adoption of innovative IT capabilities resulting in significant realized value.
- Demonstrated success leading the design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of large and enterprise-wide solutions including examples where leading without direct authority was a critical success factor.
- Demonstrated success in the use of data to drive operational improvements and efficiencies.
- development and implementation of budgets, strategies, and standards.
- Demonstrates leadership and complex organizational management skills.
- Demonstrates ability to successfully work within a highly matrix organization with large footprint.
