This position is responsible for the development and management of relationships with marquee clients who are responsible for hosting special event experiences that support the pursuit and achievement of the business goals and initiatives. The position works directly with sales, event management, operations, conference services, culinary and special event partners.The position will leverage internal and external resources to support and further develop strategic objectives and strategies in developing special event solutions impacting the entire guest experience and delivering upon a best in class promise. They will interact synergistically with internal and external stakeholders to increase the brand vision while adhering to all company policies and procedures. The position will strive to maintain and nurture relationships with clients, guests, employees and vendors continuing to provide and exceed client and guest satisfaction. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, be a team player, and be able to creatively think and work within the full spectrum of all that is involved with being a successful catering operation. This role will ultimately be responsible for the planning, communication, and execution of all Special Events and Event Center Programs. Utilizing a team for their strengths and actively developing their areas of opportunity. They will act as a primary and/or secondary point of contact for their client as well as internal & external partners.ResponsibilitiesBe the subject matter expert for the special events program.
