The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:$68,500.00 - $102,700.00Purpose Statement: To contribute to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment at Plexus by leading a team in performing preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and facilities upkeep. A chargeman is a skilled electrical technician responsible for maintaining and operating electrical systems in buildings and facilities. Through effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving, they strive to ensure the smooth operation of daily processes, minimize downtime, and support the success of Plexus.Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Perform Routine Inspection and Maintenance and carry out a proper preventive maintenance to ensure plant electrical systems or equipment are being operated in a safe and cost effective condition.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance
  • Ensure installation and maintenance of electrical equipment are safe and complied to legal requirements.
  • Coordinate and interface with utility providers and governmental regulatory body pertaining to utility related matters.
  • Crisis Response (Power-Related)
  • Supervise preventive and reactive maintenance of facility equipment and systems, ensuring timely resolution to issues and continuous production.
  • Support the monitoring and performance of facility security systems, processes and procedures to maintain compliance and ensure safety.
  • Lead the monitoring, performance, and metrics related to facility support systems and utilities.
  • Provide direction, assistance, and support to contractors conducting facility and equipment repairs, ensuring efficient task completion.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
  • Technical / Professional Certification in related discipline.
  • Journeyman Electrician highly desirable. 2nd yr apprentice considered
  • Certificate of CFM, CPE or FMP is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge in ISO 9000, 14001, 13485 preferred.
Other Qualifications:
  • HVAC experience desirable

  • Ability to work on raised platforms
