- Maintain awareness of client activities and whereabouts at all times, ensuring their safety through vigilant supervision.
- Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques to redirect behaviors and respond to crises, employing Crisis Prevention Institute techniques when necessary after completing training.
- Facilitate daily schedules and activities, group participation, meal service, and community outings, while actively participating and providing support.
- Document daily shift notes and communicate client concerns with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide transportation for residents to community events and meetings in a safe and legal manner.
- Attend weekly clinical supervision and remain current on all required trainings and certifications.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles.
- CPR certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
