- Drive ALPS activities across engineering, production, and quality teams.
- Lead initiatives to improve lead times, work quality, and issue resolution.
- Implement engineering standards and best practices to maintain competitiveness.
- Oversee cost-reduction efforts for current production and products.
- Work closely with project managers, customers, sales, purchasing, and production teams.
- Support quality assurance and customer claims resolution.
- Ensures a business culture with a high level of customer centricity, with ability to support customers with prompt and accurate information.
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
- Select, lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of professional Industrial Engineers and technical and administrative support staff to ensure that Industrial engineering operations are completed on-time, within budget, and on spec.
- Ensure consistent improvement of processes and implementation of tools that enables quality in the processes and deliveries.
- Ensure that business strategies and goals are met. Utilize technical expertise to coach engineers and support with problem solving.
- Allocate the project work to the most advisable resources locally, on other E&S sites or at external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
- 10+ years of professional experience in technical management within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, project management, and research & development.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to structure and organize the department effectively.
- Occasional travel (25%) required.
- 3+ years of experience with pressure vessel design according to ASME section VIII.
