About the Role:As a Financial Services Representative (FSR), you'll play a key role in supporting our members' lending needs while helping them improve their financial well-being. You'll work in a centralized team environment, connecting with members via video, phone, email, and call center channels. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, member-focused setting and enjoys consultative conversations that lead to real financial solutions.
  • Position type: Full-Time
  • Work schedule:
  • Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: Once a month 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM
  • Additional Compensation:
  • Bilingual Differential: Additional $1.50 per hour for bilingual skills
  • Weekend Differential: Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked on weekends, stackable with bilingual differential
Key Responsibilities:
  • Interview members to understand their loan needs and financial status.
  • Analyze credit reports and assess lending risks.
  • Prepare and review loan documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Clearly explain loan terms and underwriting decisions.
  • Recommend financial products that align with members' goals.
  • Stay current on lending trends and regulations.
  • Collaborate with collections and follow up on existing loans.
  • Cross-sell credit union products and services.
  • Manage multiple loan applications while maintaining service excellence.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: 1-3 years in lending preferred but not required.
  • Communication: Ability to explain financial concepts clearly and supportively.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Goal-Oriented: Motivated by results and committed to member success.
  • Problem-Solving: Skilled at identifying tailored financial solutions.
  • Multitasking: Capable of managing a high-volume workload with accuracy and efficiency.
