Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
- Other shifts will be considered based on business needsKey responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot and repair fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Program and record assigned preventative maintenance tasks
- Ensure planned preventive maintenance, warranty repair, and other scheduled services are completed daily
- Assist in education of the Route Sales Representatives’ pre and post-trip inspections
- Electronically bill out parts in Trimble TMT Fleet software
- Adhere to all department policies and procedures; track all required documentation
- Maintain work area ensuring organization and cleanliness
- Ensure company safe work practices are always followed
- Minimum five years hands-on experience in commercial fleet repair (gas, diesel or propane accepted)
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Accredited vocational / trade school certification preferred
- Ability to handle physical requirements, including, but not limited to, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 60 pounds in all work conditions (indoor and outdoor)
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to obtain CDL B license (with airbrake endorsement) within specified period
- Ability to obtain ASE T4 (airbrake) certification within specified period
- Must possess mechanic hand-tools and toolbox for secure storage
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Electronic Diagnostics Tool Software
