Director of the Noblitt Scholars ProgramRose-Hulman Institute of Technology has an opening for a Director of the Noblitt Scholars Program. We have been ranked No. 1 among U.S. engineering colleges by the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Guide for the last 26 consecutive years.The Director of the Noblitt Scholars Program will manage the development, delivery, and assessment of the Noblitt Scholars Program, which encompasses planning programming to develop the core competencies of Noblitt Scholars: curiosity, reflection, and empathy; working with the Program Coordinator to implement this programming; working with scholars each year to develop a unifying programming theme; ensuring that scholars are engaged with the program and are using its resources to advance their professional goals; building and supporting a robust community of scholars.Additionally, the Director will serve as a member of the Enrollment Management team and serve on various groups and committees to represent the department and program. The Director will work closely with the Faculty Director and the Program Coordinator to support and mentor current scholars and engage alumni scholars. The Director will coordinate with the Faculty Director in developing and monitoring the program budget.Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree and five to seven years of professional experience in higher education. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate concepts and ideas clearly and persuasively are essential. Must be able to speak and interact effectively with alumni, students, faculty, staff, and prospective students and their families.Preferred candidates will have a master's degree or PhD and eight years of experience working in education, human resources, public relations, communications, or related field. Salary is competitive.
