Industry leading, full-service HVAC Contractor is looking for an experienced Service Team Leader to join their growing team. The Service Team Leaders are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service by meeting client needs and commitments. They are responsible for the profitable execution of assigned maintenance and project deliverables with a strong focus on client retention. In this hands-on role you will mentor junior technicians and will often be the face of the company with clients. All work performed will comply with state, local and federal legal requirements and operate on the job with the highest of ethics. Adhering to all company safety standards, as well as following consistent and repeatable procedures and processes is important for success in this role.   • Complete thorough Preventative Maintenance Checks, Services, and Repairs on all standard commercial HVAC including but not limited to: inspection and repair/replacement of belts and pulleys, inspection and cleaning of condensate drain lines, testing power/performance of compressor, fan motor, blower motor, testing function and safety of burners/heat exchangers, maintenance of cooling systems, and function of all safety and operational controls.
  • Fully utilizes technology (tablet, smartphone)
  • Access and complete work orders including notes on services provided
  • Create and submit accurate and complete Service Reports
  • Submit timesheets, expense reports, and purchase card logs
  • Creates a positive climate with the client, provides and generates customer satisfaction. Maintains timely and consistent communications with customer and internal support teams
  • Provides guidance and oversight for junior technicians on all of the above
  • Completes other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications:
  • HS diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in the commercial HVAC trade
  • Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver’s license in good standing. EPA Universal.
  • 10-15 years’ experience in the commercial HVAC trade as a service technician.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in individual and small group situations.
  • Ability to complete assigned work orders in a timely manner and communicate work order status via designated business process.
  • Ability to use and operate handheld device and business systems or document management Database software, including but not limited to Microsoft office, Lotus Notes, MS office (word, Excel).
  • Track record of complying with all applicable codes, regulation, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Record of maintain adequate knowledge of and comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and Company safety policies at all times.
  • Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems.
Licenses/Certifications:
  • EPA Universal
  • Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen to the company’s satisfaction.
