Responsibilities
Assist the RSD with oversight of the daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Monitor residents' health and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Assist RSD with ongoing training and professional development for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Assist RSD to recruit, train, and supervise nursing staff, ensuring they provide quality care in alignment with community standards.
Act as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers to address concerns and promote resident rights and satisfaction.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and operational efficiency
Monitor compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for state applying
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a long-term care or assisted living environment.
Strong clinical knowledge and skills, including assessment and care planning.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents.
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
