As an Internal Communications Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in fostering transparent and effective communications within our organization. This entry-level position is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about internal communications and eager to contribute to a positive and engaging workplace culture.The role will report to the Head of Global Corporate Communications and will work closely with the functional areas of the business (HR, IT, Finance, etc.) to develop and execute internal communication strategies that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's vision, mission and goals. This role requires a physical presence at our Somerset, NJ office.Key Responsibilities include:Content Creation:
- Develop and curate content for internal communications channels including mobile communications (CompoConnect), intranet, and email updates.
- Ensure all communication materials align with the company's messaging and branding guidelines.
- Assist in planning and executing internal events, such as town hall meetings, workshops, and employee recognition programs.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather information and coordinate logistics for events.
- Manage and update internal communication platforms, ensuring information is accessible, relevant, and timely.
- Monitor employee feedback and engagement on communication channels, and propose improvements based on feedback.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather content, share updates, and ensure consistent messaging across the organization.
- Collaborate with HR, leadership, and other departments to communicate important announcements and changes.
- Own and contribute to initiatives that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Support the development of internal campaigns to promote a positive workplace culture.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of internal communication efforts.
- Use data and feedback to make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- 1-5 years of internal communications experience or a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using digital communication tools and platforms.
- Basic understanding of internal communication principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
