- Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through various methods, including cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Sales Presentations: Present product information, features, and benefits to potential customers, effectively communicating the value proposition.
- Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for customers.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions in the CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments, such as marketing, to develop effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to inform sales strategies and customer interactions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and presenting information effectively.
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in inside sales, business development, or a related field is often required, typically ranging from 1 to 3 years.
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools to track interactions and manage customer relationships.
- Often collaborates with other sales team members and departments to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Work is performed primarily in an office environment using standard office equipment (computer, phone, headset, printer, etc.)
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to remain focused and productive in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment.
- Occasional movement within the office and access files, meet with team members, or attend meetings.
