Position SummaryThe Inside Sales Representative is responsible for selling products or services with existing clients, generating leads, and maintaining customer relationships to drive sales growth. Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is also responsible for managing onboarding for large or multi-site accounts, monitors the first three months of invoices for accuracy, and ensures smooth transition to Account Management.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through various methods, including cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Sales Presentations: Present product information, features, and benefits to potential customers, effectively communicating the value proposition.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments, such as marketing, to develop effective sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to inform sales strategies and customer interactions.
Qualifications
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and presenting information effectively.
  • Sales Experience: Proven experience in inside sales, business development, or a related field is often required, typically ranging from 1 to 3 years.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
  • Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools to track interactions and manage customer relationships.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Often collaborates with other sales team members and departments to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Work is performed primarily in an office environment using standard office equipment (computer, phone, headset, printer, etc.)
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to remain focused and productive in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment.
  • Occasional movement within the office and access files, meet with team members, or attend meetings.
