- The selected candidate must be able to work closely with Quality Inspectors, Process & Methods Engineers, Operations Team to support MRO Operations.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer focus, business judgment and teamwork.
- Demonstrated ability to interface and lead cross functional teams.
- Communicate with various levels of management, business partners and supply base.
- Collect and analyze data to minimize workflow disruptions and eliminate nonconformances/escapes.
- Lead the investigation of quality related work stops and turn-backs using Quality Improvement tools such as Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA), Process Analysis, and facilitate investigations, while preventing future recurrence.
- Manage escapes and investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions while preventing future recurrence.
- Perform First Article Inspections.
- Lead Quality System, process, and product audits.
- Assist 3rd Party Audits as required.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Generate and modify applicable Quality System documentation to ensure processes and requirements are clearly defined.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or business field or equivalent experience and 2 years of Quality Assurance and/or related experience.
- This is an onsite position working at our Midwest City, Oklahoma location.
- Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
- Travel up to 10%.
- MS Office proficiency: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
- Experience with AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Knowledge, proficiency in quality tools such as PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, GD&T elements, etc.
- Practical CORE/Six Sigma experience or Lean Systems experience a plus.
- Experience in ERP systems such as SAP and Solumina
