- Documentation Creation and Editing:
- Develop and refine Deployment Guides, User Guides, Data Sheets, Technical Bulletins, Technical Overviews, Release Notes, Installation Guides, Troubleshooting and Emergency Procedures, Solution Guides, and "How To" guides.
- Content Research and Accuracy:
- Research, write, and ensure the accuracy of content covering current and future product releases.
- Information Gathering:
- Collect relevant information from Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), Software Requirements Specifications (SRSs), and presentations to create or update technical documents.
- Collaboration:
- Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather necessary information for documentation.
- Feedback Incorporation:
- Integrate feedback from QA, Tech Support, and Product Management teams.
- Proofreading and Revision:
- Proofread documents for technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Update documentation as information and configurations change.
- Backlog Management:
- Manage the company’s documentation backlog.
- Meeting Participation:
- Attend regular meetings related to assigned projects.
- Language Proficiency:
- English mother tongue
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years technical writing experience
- Technical Writing Expertise:
- Strong experience in writing software and hardware installation procedures.
- Software Proficiency:
- MadCap Flare - Minimum of 3 years
- Strong experience with publishing software such as Adobe InDesign and Word.
- Topic-Based Authoring:
- Strong experience in topic-based authoring.
- Communication Skills:
- Ability to translate complicated concepts into accessible content for audiences with varied expertise levels.
- Multitasking Ability:
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Remote Collaboration:
- Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed team members and developers.
- Remote Work Capability:
- Ability to work remotely.
- Graphic Software Knowledge:
- Familiarity with graphics or photo imaging software, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Corel Paint Shop Pro, and TechSmith SnagIt.
- Agile Environment Experience:
- Previous experience working in an Agile environment.
- RFID/WiFi Knowledge:
- Understanding of RFID/WiFi is advantageous.
- Adaptability:
- Ability to adapt to changing technical publication priorities.

- Capable of meeting rigorous deadlines.
