- Manages innovative improvement projects throughout the organization to accomplish measurable business improvements.
- Coordinates project work including project plans and schedules, and completes projects on time and within budget. Analyzes and documents, processes, procedures and outcomes to seek continuous improvement. Assesses resource requirements for project tasks and works with leaders of functional areas and subject matter experts to meet project plan deliverables.
- Communicates, collaborates, networks with team members/key stakeholders/business partners in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services and appropriate utilization of resources.
- Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing systems and processes; and implements systems to align, enable and improve sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable clinical and business functions.
- Serves staff as a source of knowledge, expertise, education, training and mentoring related to areas of expertise
- Acts as a change agent to advance the knowledge and use of process improvement methodology and tools.
- Skills & Abilities: Problem solves, makes independent decisions, formulates reports, performs statistical analyses, and interprets data, works independently, is result oriented, can manage multiple priorities, ability to evaluate current state of processes utilizing data, time studies, observation & process mapping, maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and ability to travel to meetings in various sites, sometimes multiple locations in one day when necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Process, or Industrial Engineering; Human Kinetics/Kinesiology; Human Factors or Ergonomics Engineering; Product Design; Systems Engineering; Organizational Design; Organizational Psychology; Sociology; Economics or related field.
- 10 years of deep experience with process improvement, project management, change management, and/or systems engineering/design methodologies and models.
- 5 years of demonstrated competence and experience leading and coaching on improvement initiatives, training programs, and developing large scale programs/portfolios/roadmaps of work
- Master's Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Industrial Engineering; Human Kinetics/Kinesiology; Human Factors or Ergonomics Engineering; Product Design; Systems Engineering; Organizational Design; Organizational Psychology; Sociology; Economics or related field.
- 1 year of relevant experience with human centered design frameworks for problem solving, human factors design tools and methods, and/or design thinking methodologies
