We are seeking a highly skilled Controller with extensive leadership experience in the construction industry to lead the divisional accounting team.The position will report directly to the SVP of Accounting and work closely with the CFO and other Senior Leadership members.Key Responsibilities:
· Financial Leadership & Strategy
o Lead a high-performing construction accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
o Develop and implement financial controls and best practices for the construction industry to mitigate risks and enhance compliance.
o Collaborate with senior leadership to drive financial strategies that align with business objectives.
o Oversee job costing, contract compliance, revenue recognition and overall project financial performance, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
· Accounting & Compliance
o Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, adhering to GAAP standards.
o Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
o Oversee audits, and regulatory requirements for the construction division.o Drive automation and technology adoption to streamline operations.
o Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning for all construction projects.Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years accounting experience required
- Bachelor's in accounting required
- CPA track preferred
- Experience with US-GAAP & IFRS Accounting Standards.
