Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic plan for launching the program. This includes promoting the program through events, media, and community outreach to increase visibility and support.
- Lead the Women's Flag Football team during practices, competitions, and training sessions, focusing on skill development, teamwork, and achieving national competitiveness.
- Develop, recruit, and retain student-athletes committed to academic and athletic excellence while fostering a positive and disciplined team culture.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a staff, including full-time, part-time, and volunteer personnel.
- Oversee daily program operations, including budget management, travel planning, scheduling, organizing camps/clinics, and compliance with all regulations.
- Represent the Women's Flag Football program in community events, public appearances, and fundraising initiatives to enhance program visibility and support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Three (3) years' experience within a collegiate or high school football/flag football coaching setting any other combination of relevant education and experience.
- Master's degree.
- Three (3) years women's flag football head coaching experience.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting, program development, and mentoring student-athletes.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Professional public speaking and relationship-building skills.
- Professional knowledge of NCAA regulations.
- Experience in college recruiting.
- Ability to inspire and create a positive foundation for a successful inaugural season and vision for the future.
