Run what runs the worldThis Position reports to: QCS Engineering ManagerABB’s Process Automation business area enables customers to operate some of the world’s largest and most complex industrial infrastructures, helping them outrun – leaner and cleaner.
We offer a broad range of automation, electrification and digital solutions for process, hybrid and maritime industries, including industry-specific integrated control and software as well as measurement and analytics solutions and services.Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Support: Provide technical support as required for software specials proposals, planning and Schedule Management, and ensure direct manager is current on all scheduled project activities.
  • Project Execution: Prepare System software and make ready for internal integration test, support integration test of systems during internal One-hundred Percent Test, and support Factory Acceptance Test with Customer, if included in project.
  • Commissioning: Support system implementation at Customer site and support start-up activities, follow-up with a system software issues, document on support line and drive to resolution, and provide Level 3 support line coverage on periodic basis.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Provide Technical support of project activities during the start-up, optimization and results stage of the project. Ensure Customer feedback is communicated to Project Manager.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical) or Paper/Computer Science required and 4+ years of QCS application experience in the Pulp and Paper industry.
  • Fluent in written and verbal English, Spanish a plus.
  • Experience working with any Distributed Control Systems and PLC equipment.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
