This consultant will be in the office 5 days a week and will have the potential to be a long tern employee of our client. This consultant will essentially Be responsible for assisting with the development, execution and administration of all compliance risk assessments.
  • Report into the Head of Risk Assessment and assist with the development, execution and administration of all compliance risk assessments for the organization
  • This consultant will focus on BSA/AML, EWRA, OFAC EWRA, CCRA, Fraud,. ABC, Industry, Country/Jurisdiction and Product Risk Assessments
  • Identify any potential risk factors and/or internal controls
  • Work along side with the legal team, corporate compliance team and other teams as well
  • Coordinate any training materials for new hires
  • Assist with the initial review of business unit responses for all risk assessments conduced with the company
  • Escalate any issues as needed
  • Draft reports of the risk assessment results
  • Work with vendors directly in correlation to the risk assessment solution requirements
  • Perform analysis on the risk assessments completed

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years within financial services, with a focus on BSA/AML Sanctions, Corporate Compliance Roles, Fraud and Anti-Bribery
  • 2+ years within risk assessment is preferred
  • Certifications are preferred (ACAMS, ACFCS, CFE etc)
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of BSA/AML Sanctions, Corporate Compliance, Fraud and/or ABC Laws
  • Local to NYC and can work in the office 5 days a week
