Our brands portfolio includes L'Oréal Professionnel, Kerastase, Redken, Matrix, Biolage, Mizani, L'Oreal Technique and Pureology.What You Will Do:The Manager of PR & Partnerships under the Brand Engagement team is a dynamic and results-driven candidate focused on shaping brand perception while driving impactful narratives. They are integral in supporting the brand's visibility and reputation through expert management of public relations, earned media initiatives, and key partnerships. They are responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies that align with overall brand objectives, securing high-impact earned media placements across diverse channels (print, digital, broadcast, social), and cultivating strong relationships with brand partners, and supporting the earned mailer strategy for the brand. This individual will manage external agencies, oversee content development for press materials and mailers, and proactively identify emerging trends and opportunities within the PR landscape. The manager will be tasked with analyzing campaign performance, reporting on KPIs, and continually optimizing strategies to achieve maximum brand reach and engagement.
Management of PR agency and strategy
Pitch trade partners to secure top media coverage for the Haircare and Haircolor categories while developing and maintaining relationships with contacts
Share in writing of external and internal communication; includes but is not limited to brand websites, press correspondence, L'Oreal intranet
Draft and manage quarterly IMC Newsletter (Redken Moments quarterly)
Monthly Press Clips Organization: Monitoring, Researching and Scanning
Reporting weekly and monthly PR results
Help oversee Cision Tracking Reports to ensure accuracy for PR
Event management and support related to Press events or attendance
Write pitch notes in accordance to media kits
Draft blog content for editorial submissions and opportunities
Gathering and updating asset database
Print Media - manage publishing deadlines and opening briefs for Marketing/Creative departments
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelors degree
Minimum 4-6 years experience successfully guiding strategic marketing, branding, and product management.
Understanding and appreciation of the Professional Beauty Industry
Possesses ability to develop and implement long-term brand engagement strategies that directly contribute to business objectives.
Demonstrates superior written and verbal communication skills. Capable of crafting compelling narratives, developing persuasive pitches, and communicating complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences (media, partners, internal stakeholders).
Highly skilled at cultivating and nurturing strong, lasting relationships with journalists, editors, and strategic partners. Possesses a natural ability to connect with people and build rapport.
Exhibits a keen eye for identifying emerging trends, potential earned media opportunities, and valuable partnership avenues. Takes initiative to pursue these opportunities without constant direction.
Driven by measurable outcomes. Adept at defining KPIs, tracking campaign performance, analyzing data, and using insights to optimize strategies for maximum impact and ROI.
Ability to travel domestically periodically (25%).
