- Acting as a lead for companywide commodity/spend strategies Develop, Implementing, and Leading Commodity/Spending Strategies, using strategies based on market trends, benchmark data, and stakeholder feedback.
- Overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of the Bank of America (BoA) deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and client expectations.
- Developing and structuring the team to support the BoA deployment and future scalability, identifying key roles, responsibilities, and resources needed for success.
- Recruiting, mentoring, and managing a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and accountability to drive results.
- Sharing strategy with key stakeholders, gaining alignment and driving implementation.
- Providing leadership for the regional Procurement leaders in NAM, LAM, EMEA and APAC.
- Developing partnerships with external providers to effectively scale solutions globally. These providers include but are not limited to strategic portfolio planning, contract administration, transaction management, program management and implementations.
- Developing and executing projects against annual budgets for assigned spending.
- Collaborating with business partners and functional leaders to integrate the program and business strategies.
- Directing the integration of cross functional requirements.
- Consolidating, quantifying and comparing spending data that enables the business strategy.
- Guiding day-to-day project-specific developments.
- Governing consistency in process, reporting, data integrity, and vendor qualification and pricing.
- Overseeing documentation and tracking of key supplier performance (scope, budget, schedule, and quality).
- Integrating future thinking, technology, HID products, branding, sustainability requirements (energy, water, CO2, social responsibility, and local requirements into sourcing roadmap.
- A bachelor's degree in Procurement or related field and a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant procurement experience
- Global experience
- Demonstrated experience with procuring corporate materials, equipment, and services
- Knowledge of procurement systems, purchasing policies and procedures as well as purchasing laws
- Ability to analyze market trends and forecast for purchasing decisions
- Demonstrated leadership with capacity to manage global, cross-functional, and external interactions.
- Strong familiarity with and competence in corporate functions (Finance, legal, HR, Engineering, Marketing and Business Development).
- Demonstrated decision making skills coupled with good judgement.
- Support a customer-service culture by understanding and delivering empathetic services.
- Govern positive brand recognition and reputation.
- Knowledge and experience with financial systems and financial data.
- Strong analytical skills, organization skills, ability to read and manipulate large volume of data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of company associates and suppliers.
