
Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

- Collaborate with technology teams to design effective technical strategies and align roadmaps for cloud execution planning while you drive enterprise-wide strategy formulation, vision implementation, operational tasks, cost and risk management
- Work on moderate to complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the function, business unit, and overall global company
- Lead projects, plan and conduct assignments, oversee project goals and resources, evaluate results, and recommend major change in procedures
- Use your expertise in modern cloud service provider technologies, well-architecture, cloud native technologies, and Infrastructure as Code technologies to estimate and advise concerning impact of decisions and services
- Communicate internally and externally to all levels of management, agencies and customers
- Provide leadership through the assessment and analysis of complex data, theory and application of practices. Consultant role, working with business units and development teams on cloud knowledge-share and enablement efforts
- 8+ years of experience in public/private cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- 6+ years of experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), and concurrent versioning software (Git, Github)
- 6+ years of experience in the complete SDLC, including associated deployment methodologies, QA processes, and performance tuning efforts
- 4+ years of experience interacting with customers and appropriate representatives to analyze, validate, specify, verify, and document and manage solution requirements
- 4+ years of experience designing and implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
- Working knowledge of networking protocols and components including TCP/IP, DNS, CIFS
- Prior experience working on a matrix team consisting of a variety of infrastructure engineering groups, as well as development groups and client Relationship groups
- Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with a high level of confidence
- High ability to exercise extreme discretion and independent judgement, while you multi-task and work efficiently without direction or guidance
