- Assist in the successful launch of the store; signing up vendors, training staff, onboarding vendors, and preparing for a strong opening day and beyond.
- Provide a fun, welcoming, and memorable shopping experience for all customers.
- Lead by example with excellent customer service and a problem-solving mindset.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with our vendors by offering exceptional support, ensuring their needs are met, and helping them succeed.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all vendor inquiries, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a vendor occupancy rate of 90%+ by recruiting and retaining a strong vendor mix that reflects the community.
- Manage day-to-day store operations, staffing, and scheduling.
- Oversee daily store functions, ensuring tasks are assigned and completed efficiently by your team, and maintain outstanding store standards.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Hire, train, and mentor a strong, service-focused team to deliver top-tier customer service and achieve store goals ensuring a customer-focused and vendor-supportive atmosphere.
- Conduct performance reviews and help team members grow within their roles.
- Implement in store marketing efforts and support our social media team (social media experience is a plus, training will be provided).
- Manage sales performance, maintain store records including vendor occupancy, staff schedules, and month-end processes.
- Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education. (College preferred)
- 3-5 years of retail management experience required.
- Strong understanding of retail sales, marketing, and customer service techniques.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, and managing employees.
- Familiarity with retail sales and store operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work within a budget and achieve goals.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Salary: $45K-$50K annually
