- Position performs fundamental operational tasks such as: account openings, handling all types of consumer and business deposit products, new or renewal of CDs, issues cashiers' checks, issue debit cards, prepare account opening related forms, prepare customer's request forms, prepare SBLC renewal, and performs other banking related functions. Above functions includes supporting of the International Banking Officer.
- Required to periodically provide same service to Japanese customers as branch personal bankers.
- In addition, manages and assists in the administrative duties and tasks for the group.
- Perform office administrator tasks.
- Ensure daily operational efficiency in compliance with regulations and CPB policies and procedures.
- Team Player: Assist team members in management and achievement of goals, portfolio and accountabilities. Act as a back up to all operational tasks for International Banking Officers.
- High school or GED equivalent diploma required.
- High school or GED equivalent diploma required.
- 6 –12 months of customer service experience required.
- 6 - 12 months of banking experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Japanese language preferred; ability to read, write, and communicate in a business setting.
- 2+ years of related or customer service experience required.
- 2+ years of banking experience.
- Proficiency in Japanese language preferred; ability to read, write, and communicate in a business setting.
- Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
- Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
- Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
- Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
- Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
