
Staffing Coordinator

- Responsible for the oversight of the CDS planning for social skills groups, including completion of all planning sheets
- Assists with managing behavioral crisis in the milieu when needed
- Provides on-call coverage before hours for unplanned staffing changes including deployment of float and other staff to ensure appropriate site coverage, i including tracking of CDS staff attendance and punctuality
- Screens, interviews, hires and onboards new CDS staff
- Monitoring and tracking of staff compliance in relation to required training and certifications
- Plans daily transportation logistics in collaboration with CDS and Clinical Coordinator
- Responsible for the ongoing completion and monitoring of licensing regulations and compliance of documentation such as refrigerator temperatures, physical plant needs, and physical plant inspection and walk through
- Obtain and maintain the following certifications and training: Public Service License to support transportation needs as they arise, TCI, CPR, Med certification, Epi-pen / asthma inhaler certification, Risking Connection, Doc Wayne
- Assist with transportation when needed
- Travel between program/agency sites required
- High School diploma or equivalent required college preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in comparable setting, i.e. level of care and development level, including 1 year supervisory/management experience.
- Ability to work in a team environment, good problems solving skills, solid computer skills, ability to set limits and maintain the helping role of the practitioner.
- Valid driver's license and the capacity to attain or maintain a Public Service License, Medication Administration Certification, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Certification, American Red Cross First Aid and CPR Certification, Defensive Driving Certification, Safe Food Handling Certification.
- Knowledge of basic child development, issues related to the effects of abuse and neglect.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with specific applications used by the Village a plus.
- Must be able to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Must be culturally competent to serve a diverse population.
- Must have the ability to manage stress and to respond to emergency situations safely and calmly.
- Physically able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations, including ability to supervise groups of children and perform physical intervention if required; and to drive a passenger vehicle of up to 10 passengers.
