- Drives to grow designated sales territory by providing sales and service to both new and existing customers by identifying, establishing, and maintaining in-depth and on-going relationships. Oversees the development of leads and prospects, cultivates relationships, presents company strengths and services, analyzes customer needs, generates reports and executes sales and marketing strategies as directed by the company.
- Prepares and manages a forecast for designated territory. This includes forecasted sales by customer and sales by finish.
- Utilizes in-house software platforms Zoho, Tableau and others to document all visits, contacts, and other critical data pertaining to the customer or prospect.
- Represents the company as directed at various trade activities such as trade shows, conferences, meetings and company lunch and learns within assigned territory and online.
- Provides the VP of Business Development with timely information pertaining to new prospects, key projects, territory progress against goals, customer input, competitive information, and pricing variances and strategies.
- Exercises authority and accountability to deliver on key business objectives.
- Up to 50% travel is required in assigned territory and a flexible work schedule is needed. Must be able to plan, coordinate and execute business trips and on-site customer visits independently.
- Maintain 100% of assigned customer base while achieving other sales growth goals.
- Utilize the Anoplate Proven Process and the Sandler Selling System.
- Excellent sales skills with knowledge of plating and anodizing processes preferred. Demonstrated account management skills with proven customer service practices that build long term relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills and ability to interact with a variety of internal and external customers with confidence, professionalism and poise.
- The ability to work and collaborate effectively with all business partners including senior level executives and industry partners as well as with Inside Sales Representatives, Customer Service Representatives, and Production staff.
- Must be able to multi-task and manage highly detailed work while balancing multiple projects.
- Must be able to work in fast-paced environment and possess a very proactive approach with a bias for taking action.
- Highly motivated and self-directed with excellent organizational and negotiating skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must also be proficient in Web meeting platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meets.
- Long periods of sitting, bending and stooping required to perform the essential functions of this position. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb stairs and lift objects of up to 10 lbs. as required. Must have a valid driver's license.
- Salery: $65,000-$80,00 plus commission
