What We’re Looking For:
  • The ideal candidate has 5+ years of public accounting experience (required) or mix of public accounting and industry experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred
  • Experience working with publicly traded companies
  • Management/Supervisory experience required
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Prepare financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Ensure regulatory reports are completed & filed with required agencies in a timely manner
  • Oversee daily accounting processes and maintain compliance with GAAP rules, as well as all regulatory policies
  • Supervise accounting team’s work to ensure journal entries and reconciliations are being completed fully and accurately
  • Stay current on changes to SEC and FASB accounting rules; Assist with planning and implementing changes to ensure total compliance with governing entities
  • Additionally, partner with business leaders to review inefficient process and develop way to improve existing processes to save time and cut costs
  • Continually provide support for team including developing and training skills as needed
  • Handle ad hoc projects in a timely manner
