• Example of Shifts:

• Monday- Friday 11pm-6:30pm (approximately) 12pm-7:30pm (approximately)

• Ensure timely, safe, and accurate delivery of specimens and supplies within Alexandria and surrounding communities utilizing the Alomere Health’s courier vehicle
• Utilize technology available for tracking specimens
• Work with laboratory supervisor to plan routes
• Ensure the most efficient route is travelled each day, with minimal delays or deviations from planned route
• Work with hospital, clinic, and client team members to ensure transportation needs are met

• Perform all other related duties as assigned in a professional and responsive manner
• Demonstrate the ability to use relevant equipment
• Support, understand, and promote Alomere Health’s mission, vision, values, policies and procedures
• Ability to meet the work schedule requirements with flexibility dependent upon the needs of the department
• Foster respectful working relationships with professional colleagues, patients, families, and general public regardless of age, gender, lifestyle, culture, beliefs, race, socioeconomic class, or ability

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• 21 years of age or older
• Satisfactory driving record. Driving record will be verified annually.
• Complete transportation of dangerous good training or complete within 2 weeks of hire

• Prior courier experience
