IntroductionIn this contingent resource assignment, you will have the opportunity to consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering. You will contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables, analyzing challenges and resolving issues by leveraging your solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaboration with client personnel is key to meeting deliverables.Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent, demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
Hands-on experience with building data pipelines using big-data stack (Hadoop, Hive, pySpark, Python).
Experience with Amazon AWS S3, including object storage, security, and data service integration.
Proficiency in data modeling and database design.
Experience with job scheduling tools like Autosys.
Familiarity with PowerBI and Dremio.
Experience with Unix/shell scripting and CICD pipeline.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Exposure to GCP cloud data engineering.
Financial services experience.
Strong understanding and implementation of Autosys.
Ability to automate using Spark, Python, Hadoop/Hive.
Fundamental background in database design (MySQL or any standard database).
