Job DescriptionThis role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of an office [Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, or Mountain View], you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.The RoleThe Senior Strategist, Digital will be dedicated to dashboard development, reporting, and analysis for GM. This person will be focused on performance and operational metrics which are core to running the business at the overall Brand and Dealer levels.What You’ll Do
Working with stakeholders to understand objectives driving the requests/requirements: The strategist will engage with various stakeholders to gather and comprehend the objectives behind their requests and requirements. This involves active communication and collaboration to ensure that the data and insights provided align with the business goals.
Ability to translate data into answers that resonate with the business: The role requires a strong ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights that are meaningful to the business. This includes identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies that can inform decision-making and strategy.
Site data inputs including mobile vs. Desktop usage, CTA engagement, and site behaviors including heat mapping, click-stream data, and content engagement: The role involves analyzing site data inputs to understand user behavior and engagement. This includes tracking mobile versus desktop usage, call-to-action (CTA) engagement, and site behaviors through tools like heat mapping and click-stream data. The strategist will also assess content engagement to optimize site performance.
Ability to work cross-functionally with minimal guidance: The strategist should be capable of working across different functions and teams with minimal supervision. This requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to navigate various aspects of the business to achieve objectives.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Degree: Math, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, MIS or similar discipline, Graduate degree a plus
5-7 years of experience in analytics
Expert SQL: Proficiency in SQL is essential for querying and managing databases effectively.
Proficiency with Power BI: The ability to create and manage dashboards using Power BI is crucial for visualizing data and insights.
Proficiency with Adobe Analytics: Understanding Adobe Analytics is important for tracking and analyzing web data.
Data storytelling and communication: The ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and compelling manner is vital.
Able to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences: The strategist should be able to explain technical concepts to stakeholders who may not have a technical background.
Excellent understanding of clickstream data: A deep understanding of clickstream data is necessary for analyzing user behavior on websites.
Curiosity and creativity for researching: The role requires a curious and creative mindset to explore new ways of analyzing and interpreting data.
What Can Give You a Competitive Advantage (Preferred Qualifications)
Python (a plus): Knowledge of Python can be beneficial for data analysis and automation tasks.
Azure/Databricks (a plus): Experience with Azure and Databricks can enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.

The expected base compensation for this role is: $85,100 - $143,300. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
