- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management systems (QMS) in compliance with industry standards (ISO, IATF, etc.).
- Ensure that quality control processes are effectively executed and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality metrics.
- Establish, review, and update quality policies, procedures, and objectives in alignment with business goals.Process Improvement & Innovation:- Identify and lead initiatives for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to enhance quality, reduce defects, and improve efficiency.
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to drive process optimization and waste reduction.
- Implement root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues, ensuring that problems are resolved in a timely and effective manner.Compliance & Risk Management:- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies related to manufacturing and quality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and customer requirements, ensuring all products meet specifications and standards.
- Manage audits and inspections, both internal and external, ensuring readiness and compliance with certifications and standards.
- Monitor and report on risk management related to product quality and safety.Job Overview, cont.Team Development & Leadership:- Build and lead a high-performing quality team, providing mentorship, training, and development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and proactive approach to quality across departments and ensure effective communication of quality objectives.
- Evaluate and improve the performance of the quality team through regular assessments, feedback, and career development planning.Customer Relations & Satisfaction:- Work with customer service and production teams to address quality-related customer complaints, returns, or feedback.
- Engage with key customers to discuss quality requirements and concerns, ensuring their needs are met while maintaining compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring that quality standards are adhered to throughout the supply chain.Reporting & Analysis:- Provide regular reports and presentations to senior leadership on quality metrics, goals, challenges, and achievements.
- Analyze data from audits, inspections, and quality control activities to identify trends and drive decision-making.
- Track and report on quality improvement initiatives and their impact on operational performance.What your background should look likeEducation:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 10+ years' experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience implementing quality management systems (QMS), including ISO, IATF, or similar certifications.
- Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in supplier quality management and customer quality relationship management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to develop and implement quality strategies and initiatives.
- Expertise in data-driven decision-making and reporting.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, systems, and industry standards.

- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $132,300 - 198,400 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
