We are currently searching for an exceptional, hands-on Cabinet Designer to draft plans for the production of custom cabinets and millwork. To be successful in this role, you should be a strong multitasker with excellent customer service skills and a sharp eye for design and detail. A top-tier Cabinet Designer will show initiative while staying within the scope of client expectations.Responsibilities:Meet with clients to understand the intended function and style of each spaceDevelop detailed layouts and shop drawings for custom cabinetry and millworkSuggest materials, finishes, and functional enhancements to improve design and usabilityDesign with consideration for water, electrical, and HVAC systems for safety and practicalityCreate production-ready plans using industry-specific softwareEducate clients on proper cabinet care and maintenanceTrack hours and tasks to ensure accurate billingEnsure designs adhere to building codes and safety regulationsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 2 years of experience as a Cabinet Designer or DrafterProficiency in Cabinet Vision (REQUIRED)Highly desired skills: Experience with Microvellum, Mozaik, and AutoCADStrong portfolio of completed designs and built projectsExcellent communication, time management, and organizational skillsKnowledge of construction standards and regional building codesDetail-oriented, with the ability to listen to and align with client needs and budgetsIf you'd like to take your career to the next level, APPLY TODAY!
