Anyone can use Domo to prepare, analyze, visualize, automate, and build data products that are amplified by AI.POSITION SUMMARYThis role is an in office role.We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join our team and help integrate the Domo data platform with partner cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience working with data engineering and business intelligence technologies, improving data pipelines and building reliable, scalable integrations. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to deepen your technical skills while contributing to projects that connect some of the fastest-growing data platforms in the industry.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work on projects that ensure seamless data transfer between Domo and cloud data warehouses like Snowflake and Big Query;
  • Build and implement solutions for measuring the quality, performance and reliability of the Domo data platform;
  • Troubleshoot and optimize performance of database queries and API requests;
  • Document technical processes, ensuring maintainability and knowledge sharing;
  • Work with other engineering teams to implement new features built on the Domo data platform.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Software development experience (internship experience ok) and coursework in server development Java, Kotlin or similar languages
  • Software development experience (internship experience ok) and coursework in development areas such as algorithms, databases, and distributed systems;
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
  • Ability to communicate and interface with technical and non-technical members of the organization;
  • Working on a College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and/or equivalent combination of experience and education.
