Job Summary:
Interim HealthCare in Montgomery County & Southern MD is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and provide quality care to patients in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical field, perfect for those looking for a work-life balance. As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, and ensuring the safety and comfort of our clients in thier homes.Compensation & Benefits:
We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $18 to $20, paid biweekly. This part-time role also offers a flexible schedule, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and assist with their daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and transitioning
- Monitor and report any changes in patient's physical or emotional well-being
- Provide medications reminders
- Assist with patient mobility, including transferring, turning, and positioning
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Communicate with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure the highest quality of care is being provided
- Follow all safety and infection control protocolsRequirements:
- Active CNA certification in the state of Maryland
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a CNA in a homecare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and move patients
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Current CPR certification
