
Supplier Quality Engineer Component Introduction-Autonomous Mobility

- Drive component introduction within the customer and development projects
- Perform Risk Analysis & create risk mitigation plan along with Supplier, SQM P and project team.
- Drive the risk mitigation plan over the PLC and initiate corrective actions (e.g. escalation) if the risk mitigation plan is not on track.
- Identify missing or not up-to-date audits / GQA and request (re-)audit/completion if required from responsible SQM
- Track and plan execution of SCR
- Ensure in-time sourcing of feasible suppliers with decisions signed according signature rules
- Plan, initiate and control failure prevention orientated, advanced quality management measures in the design/development phase for supplied parts
- Plan, initiate, implement and control the appropriate supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain in the make/market phase for all supplied goods and services
- Implement and control of quality improvement and development programs of suppliers
- Prepare and execute visits and management meetings with suppliers
- Troubleshooting for supplier problems and support Supplier Quality Management (SQM) Plants for escalation
- Ensure in-time releases of new components
- Regular update of APQP Status via SupplyOn.
- To feedback continuously APQP / PPAP status from SQM towards project team / engineering / SQM P
- To feedback APQP / PPAP status from SQM towards customer on demand
- Promote Lessons Learned within BA and SQM (related to component introduction, component specification, supplier selection, technology experience, new business models ...)
- Support Escalation management regarding SQM topics for cross-product family / customer cases
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in quality or research & development function and/or in project management.
- Comprehensive knowledge in semiconductor, advanced technology, mechanical or manufacturing
- Good experience in quality systems, process audits and parts qualification
- Understanding of automotive practices such as APQP, PPAP, VDA6.3 or IATF16949
- Able to lead/facilitate process improvements and supplier development
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (e.g.-Business English, Presentations) to interact with external and internal stakeholders
- Able to work independently and travel frequently (e.g.- SE-Asia, China, Japan, Mexico & Europe) approx. 30%
