We strive for execution excellence while being direct, humble, collaborative, and inclusive of diverse perspectives.AMD together we advance_THE ROLE:As a Design Verification Engineer – GPU & AI Architecture, you will work with GPU expert and verify next generation graphics and AI technologyTHE PERSON:You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Verify command processor which is the front-end of the GPU pipeline for next generation of GPU and AI engine
  • Work with architects to implement logic verification with high performance and lower power
  • Coordinate with design engineer and verify the various aspects of the design
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Project level experience with design concepts and verification implementation for same
  • Experience or familiarity with EDA tools and/or functional verification tools by VCS, Cadence, Mentor Graphics
  • Good understanding of computer organization/architecture
  • Experience in digital verification engineer
  • Good understanding of UVM
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Undergrad degree required. Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering preferred.
