Our customers include real-estate brokers, real-estate agents, owners, and investors who need internet listing services and information to help them sell/purchase properties and track competitive trends.CoStar is currently seeking a full-time Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) in our Austin office where you will be responsible for writing software test harnesses used to automate the testing of our software. A SDET may write code that tests functionality, computations, performance or scalability. You will also help troubleshoot these high performance and high availability web applications that drive the growth of our Land business unit.This position is located in Austin, TX and offers the following hybrid schedule options:- 3 days onsite, 2 days remoteResponsibilities:Drive our end-to-end automation scripts to reduce time spent on repetitive testing tasksWriting, scheduling and publishing test automation scripts for full-stack infrastructureCollaborate with Development and QA engineers to accelerate progress on our test automation goalsUnderstand the flow of code and how it interacts with different componentsUnderstand project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test casesSet up and maintain current test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, and WebBuilding test scenarios based on acceptance criteriaInvestigate customer problems referred to you by the technical support team, test bugs, and create and manage bug reportsHandle technical communications and understand the customers' systemsWorking with deployments teams, resolve level issues for systems, coordinate on product design, and offer input on the testability of functional elements and product designsNote all testing actions you have performed in daily and weekly reportsAnalyze and deconstruct software systems and coordinate with other teams to enhance the overall designResearch test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrade existing practices and processesManaging the final quality on production releaseBasic Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experienceA track record of commitment to prior employers6+ years of experience in SDET roleExcellent designing and programming skills in C# .NETExperience with BDD Concepts6+ years of experience in Selenium web driver, and testing frameworksFluent in SQL and relational databases, including experience testing relational database-backed applicationsPreferred Qualifications And Skills:Experience with Visual Studio or Azure DevOps or GitAbility to clearly communicate thoughts and ideas within and across teamsAbility to work well with other team members, developers and managementAbility to juggle priorities and work with minimal supervision or assistance to complete tasksWhat’s in it for You:When you join CoStar Group, you’ll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed.We offer you generous compensation and performance-based incentives.
