About Northeast Kingdom Human Services
NKHS is a 501(c)(3) private not-for-profit organization operating with the purpose of promoting high quality, comprehensive community mental health programs in Vermont's beautiful Northeast Kingdom. Our mission is to empower individuals, families, and communities by promoting hope, healing, and support. NKHS is a Designated Agency contracted with the State of Vermont to provide the highest quality of service in the areas of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, children and youth with serious emotional disabilities, and adults with mental health and substance use challenges. Key Responsibilities:Aid with building maintenance tasks and report major repair needs.
Clean indoor areas, supply restrooms, and perform deep cleanings when needed.
Maintain outdoor grounds, including mowing and cleanliness.
Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate gear, and use chemical cleaners and power equipment.
Move heavy items manually or with carts.
Assemble office furniture as required.
Help receive supplies and equipment, and set up and clean event spaces.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years carpentry or facilities maintenance experience.
Minimum 18 years of age.SALARY & BENEFITSCompetitive Salary $ $18.25/hr plus, depending upon experience
Monday - Friday work week.
