Opportunity Overview:Your role is pivotal in maintaining precision and high standards. Operate machinery effectively, support the team, and meet customer expectations.Work Schedule:You will begin with training on 1st or 2nd shift before transitioning to your designated shift:
  • 1st Shift: 5:30 AM - 2:15 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM - 10:15 PM (includes a $1.00 shift differential)
  • 3rd Shift: 9:30 PM - 6:15 AM (includes a $1.50 shift differential)
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-operational area inspections
  • Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues
  • Maintain safety and efficiency of line equipment and learn preventative maintenance
  • Master all production and packaging line roles
  • Adhere to equipment cleaning processes daily
  • Ensure compliance with specifications
  • Monitor quality, production, and efficiency
  • Keep detailed records and manage necessary documentation
  • Be knowledgeable about GMPs, OSHA, and HACCP
  • Become familiar with and adapt to all relevant operating procedures
  • Provide feedback on team dynamics and support the lead role when necessary
  • Train and guide line associates toward achieving their best
  • Collaborate with R&D on product advancements
  • Adapt to a flexible schedule
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed
Competencies and Environmental Considerations:Work Setting:Experience dynamic environments with mechanical parts, potential fumes, and electrical risks. Some areas may be noisy and subject to varying temperature conditions based on facility.Physical Expectations:Regularly engage in standing, tool operation, and occasionally navigating stairs. Capable of lifting and moving weight as specified. Critical vision capacities enforced.Essential Qualifications:Language ProficiencyEffective communication in English and/or Spanish. Necessary collaboration with supervisors and leads.Educational Background & ExperienceGED or high school diploma preferred; valuable experience or training encouraged.
