Sales AssistantPosition OverviewThe Sales Assistant will provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Vice President of Sales. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional who can manage a wide range of tasks, streamline communication, and help ensure the sales organization runs smoothly. The Sales Assistant will serve as a key point of coordination between the VP of Sales, internal teams, and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
  • Executive Support
  • Manage and maintain the VP of Sales’ calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare presentations, sales reports, and other documentation for meetings.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and communications on behalf of the VP.
  • Sales Operations Support
  • Assist in the preparation and tracking of sales forecasts, KPIs, and pipeline reports.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of CRM records, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Coordinate and track progress on sales initiatives, campaigns, and projects.
  • Team Coordination
  • Schedule and organize internal sales meetings, trainings, and events.
  • Follow up on action items from team meetings and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Act as a liaison between the VP of Sales and sales staff.
  • Client/Partner Relations
  • Assist with client communications, proposals, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate logistics for client visits, meetings, and presentations.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in handling client information.
Qualifications
  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative or sales support experience; experience supporting executives is a plus.
  • Skills & Competencies
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools (Salesforce or similar).
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and anticipate needs.
  • Professional demeanor, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive information.
