  • Core Infrastructure and Engineering:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of systems planning, security principles, and software best practices.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of software protocols, Internet standards, and core applications.
  • Provide effective software troubleshooting and support.
  • Utilize a working knowledge of network protocols and server operating systems.
  • Align work with organizational goals, data privacy regulations, and project management.
  • Communicate technical concepts in user-friendly language.
  • Exhibit self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, even in high-pressure environments, while maintaining a strong customer service orientation and collaborating seamlessly in a team-oriented setting.
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Infrastructure: Oversee and maintain the Microsoft Azure environment, including VMs, Backup, Windows Autopatch, Storage Accounts, Azure AD, SSO, Azure Site Recovery, and Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
  • On-Premises to Cloud Migrations: Lead and execute on-premises to cloud system migrations, ensuring seamless transitions while maintaining data security and integrity.
  • SAN & Storage Solutions: Administer and optimize SAN and Storage solutions to ensure data availability and performance.
  • Secure File Transfer Solution: Manage and maintain the MoveIT Secure Managed File Transfer solution, including Automation, Transfer, and Gateway services, to facilitate secure file transfers.
  • Vulnerability Management: Identify and remediate vulnerabilities to enhance the security of our systems and data.
  • Server Patching: Implement server patching and maintenance to ensure system integrity and security.
  • Data Backup & Recovery: Administer data backup and recovery solutions to safeguard critical data.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships for compliance purposes and service engagements, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
  • Monitoring & Incident Management: Monitor and maintain system and application monitoring infrastructure and integrate incident management tools to streamline incident response.
  • M365 and Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with M365 Microsoft 365, including Teams and OneDrive, to enhance collaboration and productivity within the organization.
  • VMWare Expertise: Manage VMWare environments, including VM and storage management, and perform updates for optimal performance.
  • Branch Server Management: Maintain branch servers, ensuring their functionality and performance.
  • Acquisition Support: Assist with data migration during bank and agency acquisitions, ensuring a secure and seamless transfer of data.
  • Mid-Tier Application Management: Oversee the management, support, and integration of in-house mid-tier applications, collaborating with application development teams to align technology solutions with business goals.
Education and/or Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.
  • Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.
  • Working technical knowledge of current software protocols and Internet standards.
  • Excellent software troubleshooting experience.
  • Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
  • Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in computer science or software engineering and/or four plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificates, Licenses Registrations
Current Microsoft MCSE certification or demonstrated practical experience.
