We are seeking a new Utility Coordinator to join our team at Ardmore Roderick. As a Utility Coordinator, you join a team of infrastructure solutions experts working to solve our client’s ever evolving project needs. This opportunity will be located at our client’s PMO office in south Chicago.Key Responsibilities
- Project Administration and Document Control
- Prepare, monitor and report on Utility Work Orders, material procurement (CDWM) and other procurements in AUR program
- Actively manage and coordinate utility updates
- Chair meetings, prepare and distribute meeting minutes
- Cost and Schedule Control
- Actively manage and update AUR schedule tracker, MPS and budget
- Technical support and Oversight
- Ability to review utility designs and coordinate designs review with DoR
- Contract and Procurement Management
- Ability to define and coordinate utility scope clearly from plans, specifications and CTA/agencies manuals
- Perform plan take-offs and estimate material quantities
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field of study
- Minimum of one to five years of utility coordination experience
- Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency using Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Blue Beam, Adobe PDF and other applicable programs
- General knowledge of office protocol, routines and procedures
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms
- Have good to great organizational skills
- Advanced degree(s)
- Experience with Trimble (eBuilder) and other relevant project management software programs
